Neighbors in the Old East End will gather (socially distanced) this weekend in two neighborhood locations to participate and celebrate the 50th annual Green Up Day. Come join us at either Greenmount Cemetery or Schamanska Park on Saturday from 1 pm to 4 pm. Rain date will be Sunday from 1 pm to 4 pm in the same locations. Please bring your mask and work gloves. We will collect trash as well as attend to some of the headstones in Greenmount Cemetery. At Schamanska Park, we will attend to the park, parking lot, and area along Grove Street. Come out to meet some of the neighbors and join us in preserving two important landmarks in the Old East End!
