Please help us celebrate the wonderful years Rachel has graced us as our friend, mentor and librarian. On Saturday May, 30th, after Rachel's last day, she will be on the Vergennes' Clang-and-Bang parade route. Line up to drive the route at 7pm at VUES. Rachel will be in front of 151 South Maple Street. Please drive by, wave and wish her well.

For your safety and her own please do not get out of your car or walk over to her. If you would like to wave please drive by.

We have also set up a tribute fund in Rachel's honor. All donations will be used specifically for children's and teen's digital and physical books, programming for children and teens and additions and upgrades to the Bixby's kid and teen spaces. All items purchased with the fund will be marked as in honor of Rachel Plant. If you would like to make a donation visit https://bixbylibrary.org/donate/ and put in the notes that this donation is for the Rachel Plant Tribute Fund. You can make a donation by mail as well and write on the check or in an attached note that your donation is for.

Rachel has also requested, since she can't see many of you that you email, to rachel.plant@bixbylibrary.org or mail the Bixby, 258 Main Street, a picture of your family for her to keep. These photos will remain private and will be a personal keepsake for Rachel.
