Drive by Birthday Wishes on Randolph Road

Past event
May 22, 2020, 4 to 6 PM

If you're up for a drive and some socially-distanced birthday wishes - honking, clapping, cheering - then slow roll it by our house this Friday between 4-6pm. We're on Randolph Road across from where Campbell Rd intersects. There will be balloons and signs.

And who is this all for, you ask? It's for my husband who's turning 37 yrs old. "Why" is the likely follow up question. Well, for the past 8 weeks my husband has somehow managed to successfully navigate the demands of both his COVID-19 Essential Employee role at work AND part-time daycare Daddy for our girls. If getting 8+ hrs of work accomplished in under 6 hrs, then playing with two littles while simultaneously getting dinner on the table promptly at 5:30pm doesn't blow your mind, you should know that often after we'd eaten, I'd be called back to work and he'd handle the bulk of our bedtime routine solo. I don't know how he did/does it, but I am so grateful.

If you think a man like that deserves a round of applause, you aren't wrong, and I think he deserves to feel really special on his birthday. Will you help me?

Email me if you have any questions. Thanks for considering wishing happy birthday to a complete stranger!
