It's finally feeling like spring and the Downtown Brandon Alliance(DBA), Brandon's Main Street program, is once again putting flower pots in the downtown business district. Would you like to help?

This will be about the 7th year that we have put these large flower pots in the shopping area. With all the construction work that is now completed the flowers will make a terrific addition to our town. Residents and visitors can enjoy them perhaps from a seat on one of the new benches.

We would very much appreciate your physical labor 1 morning next week (Thurs the 28th). We will meet in Kennedy Park (next to Blue Moon), refresh the pots with additional soil and fertilizer, plant them with those crazy prolific supertunias from Miller Hill Farm, and put them in place on the street. With a turnout like we have had for the last years, it ought to be all finished in about 2 hours. Pizza when we finish!
