Children's Poetry Morning at the Varnum
The Varnum Memorial Library in Jeffersonville is fortunate to have Donna Joerg, a local musician, writer and poet come in for a spring vacation poetry workshop. Donna feels " Poetry, if delivered with true spirit, is a message anyone can embrace". She has planned a program that is interactive and friendly for children of all ages.
Many children have met Donna at the Cambridge Elementary School sharing her talents. For the Varnum Library she has planned a two hour workshop that includes examples of many types of poetry. All material will be tailored to the group present. Donna from her musical background will work rhyme and rhythm into this enjoyable morning.
Poetry Morning will take place at the Varnum Memorial Library in Jeffersonville on Wednesday, April 16, from 10:00-noon. The public is welcome to join us for this free event. For more information please call the Library at 644-2117
