Free Program - Involving Families in LGBT Youth Suicide Prevention

There is a free program to all community members on the topic of "Involving Families in LGBT Youth Suicide Prevention"
When: April 22, 2014 6:00-8:30pm
Where: UVM's Living Well Center in the Davis Center, 590 Main St., Burlington

This is a free 90- minute program to educate parents and other adults about the key role that families play in reducing suicide risk in lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth. This will feature the film "Families are Forever". The program is presented by the VT Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in collaboration with San Francisco State University's Family Acceptance Project.
