Capital City Farmer's Market This Saturday!

Past event
May 9, 2020, 10 AM to 1 PM

We can't wait to see you this Saturday, May 9th, 10am-1pm at 2 Taylor Street (across from the new transit center)!

Pre-ordering is recommended, but not required, so order directly if you can, or come and shop quickly (10am-1pm, 2 Taylor Street) using our handy map (available on our Facebook page) and directions from our friendly volunteers! Email us for curbside or home delivery: manager@montpelierfarmersmarket.com.

Senior/at-risk priority line available, as well as a separate pick-up line for those just picking up pre-orders.

Here's what you need to know to safely visit the market....
1. If you're feeling sick, please stay home! Email us for curbside or home delivery: manager@montpelierfarmersmarket.com
2. There will be separate senior/at-risk priority line during the entire market hours, AS WELL AS a pick-up only line for those that have pre-ordered and don't need to enter the market
3. No dogs allowed, masks NOW REQUIRED to enter the market - we will have some available for purchase if you forget yours
4. Please line up patiently on marked spaces...we will limit the number of shoppers in the market at a time
5. Please pre-order directly with vendors where you can, or come with a list in mind and shop quickly
6. Please keep conversations short....we know you're excited to see your favorite vendors, but we will have time to catch up when Covid is gone. Help us keep the line moving by taking your goods and heading home.
7. Please keep 6 feet between yourself and everyone else at all times.
8. We will have friendly volunteers at the entrance to help guide you. Please follow their instructions. Once you enter the market and find your vendors, please wait on the marked circle 6 feet from their empty, sanitized table. Shop with your eyes, and allow vendors to package your order for you. Once they have placed all items on the empty table and returned to their booth, you may approach the table, collect your goods and drop payment in the box.
9. Please bring exact change/check, preferably in a sealed envelope for each vendor. We will not be making change. Some vendors will take credit cards, but the market will not be offering debit/credit transactions for tokens. We WILL be offering EBT/SNAP transactions.
10. Please travel in a one-way pattern through the market, and be aware of other shoppers around you, keeping 6 feet away.
11. There will be hand washing station available for use at the entry/exit point.
12. Stay tuned next week as we welcome back our craft vendors!
