Let's show our gratitude to our local healthcare workers and first responders as they keep us safe during these difficult times. Decorate your cars, wear costumes, and meet at the Jeffords Parking lot on the Castleton campus - use the Seminary Street entrance only! First 50 cars will be allowed in the parade and are asked to keep their headlights on during the parade for safety. Social distancing MUSt be practiced throughout the event by participants and onlookers. Saturday is also Oscar Mayer's BBQ on your Front Lawn Day; so, we hope to see families grilling!
The parade route will run south on South Street, cross Route 30 and continue on Rice-Willis, turn north on Blissville, and then east on Route 4A, continuing to North Road in the Village, and heading to the lake, turning south on Route 30, and ending at the Castleton Health Center, Castleton Police and Fire Stations with honks and horns thanking them for their service.
