At 3:00 at the Four Corners Schoolhouse, on Sunday, April 27, the Armchair Traveler series will present BEHIND THE SCENES IN PARIS AND BRUGES with Terry Allen (photographer) and Karen Kane (Paris travel consultant). Join them for a recap of a research trip to Paris and Bruges. They will share what makes a great travel photo, follow the development of Renaissance art, and seek out hidden corners and characters in two fantastic cities. Almost as good as being there...
Terry J. Allen is a reporter, editor, photographer who has worked in Vermont, as well as internationally in Iraq, Asia, and Central America. She had a one-woman photography show in New York, and had photos published by the New York Times, and used in the US Congress to document human right abuses. She has contributed to various books and films by Michael Moore and to the Sundance prize-winning documentary film Trouble The Water.
Karen Kane fell in love with Paris at age 11. A former Paris resident, she now lives in E Montpelier, and owns Paris by Design, a travel consulting service specializing in fantastic trips to Paris and Montreal (and now Bruges).
Mark your calendars and come to this event.
