Hi All,
The State of Vermont is providing MRE's to residents (shelf stable meals). Since some folks in our community will not be able to travel to pick these up, we are trying to get some and make them available at The Resource Center and The Windsor Food Shelf.
If anyone is interested in going to any one of these pick-up locations to help, please let me know:
The Vermont Foodbank is working with FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Vermont National Guard to distribute MREs (Meals Ready to Eat) at five sites around Vermont from April 22 through April 29.
Anyone in need of food is welcome and can receive a seven-day supply of Meals Ready-to-Eat (MRE) for each member of their household.
Dates and locations (9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. each day):
• Franklin County Airport, 629 Airport Rd, Swanton, VT – April 22
• Rutland Southern VT Regional Airport, 1002 Airport Rd, North Clarendon, VT – April 24
• Hartness State Airport, 15 Airport Rd, North Springfield, VT – April 27
• William H Morse State Airport, 1563 Walloomsac Rd, Bennington, VT – April 28
