Have you noticed the artistic endeavors folks have been making and displaying to cheer one another on?

Rainbows in windows, messages of hope, oversized flowers throughout town.

Would you like to join in the fun?

The White River Craft Center, the Arts Bus, RES, and Chandler are arranging a community project for Earth Day and all are invited to participate. It will be a walk-by/drive-by Earth Day celebration in front of Chandler and extended areas downtown.

So, go through your recycle bin for building materials, paint up a sign, or string up tin cans and bring what you make to the Chandler this Wednesday morning. You projects and art will remain on display thru Saturday. So, make some cardboard flowers. And if you can't make it downtown to share, put a display out in your own yard for friends and passer-bys.

The best way to support the arts is to make art!
