I know this is a tough time for our families and communities.
I invite you, your family and friends to join me for the COVID-19 Relief Benefit Concert for Vermonters at Home, organized by Molly Gray, Saturday, April 11th at 7:00 pm.
They'll also be raising money for the critical relief efforts of the Vermont Foodbank. This pandemic is creating a food assistance emergency, unlike anything The Vermont Foodbank has seen in its history.
It's always been our tradition to come together in town halls and on town greens for concerts, square dances, festivals and fiddler's contests. While we can't be together in person, join from wherever you are this Saturday April 11th at 7:00 for the Covid-19 Relief Benefit Concert for Vermonters at Home, featuring performances from artists hailing from around Vermont, including Noah Kahan of Strafford, Caitlin Canty of Proctor, Cooper McBean of The Devil Makes Three of Putney, Patrick Ross Music of Newbury and Bow Thayer of Stockbridge.
You can enjoy the family-friendly concert from home for free. The concert will be streaming via Molly Gray's campaign Facebook page and through the campaign YouTube channel, and several community television channels will be broadcasting as well. You can tune it to; Okemo Valley TV Channels 8 & 10 in Ludlow, Plymouth, Cavendish, Proctorsville and Comcast channels 20 & 21 in Mount Holly and on local channels 166 & 167, Middlebury Community Television Channels 15 & 16, Kingdom Access Television Channels 192 & 194, Brattleboro Community Television Channels 8 & 10, and Town Meeting Channel 17.
