This is a reminder of the changes to Monkton's trash and recycling drop-off to help us all stay healthy and practice social distancing.
The Monkton Recycling Center will be open from 8-12.
Both trash and recycling will be accepted from 8-12.
Filmy plastic does NOT belong in the blue recycling bins. It is a hazard for the sorting facilities.
Please bring exact change for Travis, our trash hauler: about $3 for 15 gallons and $5 for 30 gallons. You can place your check or cash into a container he will provide.
We will be admitting only 3-4 cars at a time into the parking area to allow for social distancing.
Please use all three stairways to access the blue recycling roll-offs.
If you need help with your recycling please ask the attendant when you drive in.
Also, there will be some plastic containers by the steps to place your recycling in so you do not need to climb the stairs.
Please bring your sense of humor and patience on Saturday as we do our best to navigate the challenges of this pandemic.
