United Church of Benson is hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday April 27th from 12PM – 5PM at the 2793 Stage Road, Benson, VT 05743.

The American Red Cross faces a severe blood shortage due to an unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations during this coronavirus outbreak. Healthy individuals are needed to schedule an appointment to give in the days and weeks ahead to help patients counting on lifesaving blood throughout this pandemic.

The closing of colleges and businesses have resulted in more than 6000 drives being cancelled and 200,000 less blood donations. This is our chance to help our community and state.

If you schedule your appointment prior to the drive, you can reduce your time at the drive by using Rapid Pass within 24 hours of the drive to complete reading the predonation material and answering the questions online.
