Private landowners hope land will stay in the family into the future but many have not made suitable plans for that to happen. The intergenerational transfer of land can be a "passing of the mantle" to the next generation but is also a huge threat to Vermont's forests and the incredible benefits that they provide us all. Dr. Mary Sisock, an expert on land legacy planning, will present planning strategies and information on programs and resources for landowners. There will be time for Q&A.
