The VT National Guard will staff a 400-bed surge unit for overflow hospital care at the Champlain Valley Exposition in Essex Junction. It is important to note that "these sites will be operated in close coordination with health care providers and will only be used if hospitals exceed their capacity." The State has also put out a call for individuals with past healthcare experience to join the state's Medical Reserve Corps: https://bit.ly/3dMuhgN.
