I posted a few days ago sharing an idea I've had - a little community engagement experiment in the era of social distancing. I hope you'll join us this Saturday, 4/4, for Art on Display Day!
Basically the notion is to display some art on your front lawn to share with your neighbors to bring a smile to their faces. Just set a chair on your grass facing the sidewalk (6 feet back or so) and display any kind of art you can think of. Art someone else has made that's hanging on your walls, art that you or your kids have made, pottery, poems, paintings, posters, knitting, quilting, felting, chalk art, you name it.

(A wee disclaimer - this is a just for fun activity and is NOT intended to gather anyone. Just a little exercise in community building during a time of social distancing. Remember to stay 6 feet away from friends and neighbors when walking around town, regardless of what you're up to!)
I've also made a poster you can print and display next to your art on Saturday if if ya like. Just something to explain to folks not in the know about what's going on. Email directly and I'll send it your way.
