To Answer Your Questions:
1. Yes, I can accomodate gluten-free, with notice. After you purchase your tickets (ASAP), please email me at events@eatyummybugs.com, subject line "gluten-free" with name of the necessary ticket holder in the body. The menu includes mealworm felafel, honey-fed waxworm lettuce rolls, cricket gumbo, bug polenta, and dessert!
2. If you're looking for an excuse not to eat bugs, here's one: if you are allergic to shellfish, there is a high chance that you're also allergic to eating insects. We do not recommend our events for those with shellfish allergies.
3. This dinner is kid friendly, however, if you want to eat bugs sans your kids and guilt-free, here's how: on the same day, at the same venue, I will be serving edible insects to kids from 3-4 pm, free/trick-or-treat style. There will be a reading of Beetle McGrady Eats a Bug, at 3:30.
4. This event is BYOB (beer...not bugs!).
5. Lastly, if you came to our last event and/ or are coming to this one: there is a Wall Street Journal reporter who would like to speak to you about why you go to great lengths to eat bugs with us. Please email me at events@eatyummybugs.com and I'll connect you.
Many thanks: I'm always grateful for your support!
Warmly,
Rachael Young
