PLEASE SHARE: The Westfield Blood Drive is still on and needs donors!
Monday, April 6th
1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Westfield Community Center, 59 North Hill Road

There is an unprecedented and severe blood shortage due to the coronavirus outbreak. Through yesterday, nearly 4,000 Red Cross blood drives have been cancelled across the country as workplaces, colleges and other venues continue to close resulting in more than 100,000 units of blood not collected. The Troy & Area Lions Club and Troy Council 7943 Knights of Columbus are committed to making this a successful blood drive. Disruptions to blood donations can lead to shortages of lifesaving blood and cause delays in essential medical care.

Sorry, but due of the current situation with COVID-19 the usual homemade soup and sandwich food service will not be offered at this drive....hopefully to resume at future drives!

Susy Pion, Hair with Flair, in Troy has generously donated a $25 gift certificate for all donors to be eligible to win. In addition, each presenting donor will receive a $5 Amazon Gift Card via email.

The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.
