Vermont Home and Garden Show Seed Starting Station Volunteers
VCGN is staffing a Seed Starting Station at the Vermont Home and Garden Show this weekend, April 12 and 13, at the Champlain Valley Fairgrounds, and we’re looking for enthusiastic gardeners to help us show kids and adults how to plant seeds. Celebrate Spring and help us get more people excited about growing food!
Shifts available:
Saturday, April 12: 8:30am-11:30am (3), 11:30am-2:30pm (3), 2:30pm-5:30pm (3)
Sunday, April 13: : 8:30am-11:30am (2), 11:30am-2:30pm (3), 2:30pm-5:30pm (2)
Office Help
We’re busy getting our ducks and beets in a row for the upcoming gardening season, and often have needs for help around the office, assisting with data entry, flyering around town, Access database development, preparing seed packets for distribution, helping with mailings, and lots of other fun projects. If you’d like to be put on our on-call list, get in touch.
This week, we have openings for help preparing seed packets and doing some data entry.
