Wheelock Community Initiative is hosting its 2nd annual Seed Swap, Saturday March 14, at Wheelock Town Hall, 10am to noon. Free seeds, learn about composting, bee keeping and apple grafting. Kids activities and refreshments. All are welcome, while keeping a safe distance from each other.

In the afternoon, same location, from 1 p.m. on and sponsored by Wheelock Community Initiative and VT Dept. of Forests, Parks and Recreation there will be a talk, followed by a Q & A about Emerald Ash Borers. This presentation by Ginger Nickerson, Forest Pest Education Coordinator, VT Urban and Community Forestry, and Matt Langlais, Forester, VT Dept. of Forests, Parks and Recreation will help you identify EAB and plan for a future with them in our woods, towns and yards.
