Governor David Zuckerman which will take place on Monday March 16 at 7:30 pm. The event will be a moderated discussion about how Vermont can respond to the climate crisis. This is a special opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from the candidates about their proposed climate plans. The event is the first in a series of actions and celebrations happening around the state to honor the 50th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22nd.
The Sunrise Movement and Rights & Democracy are identifying and building support for local and state leaders to champion the Green New Deal. Local advocacy group Earth Matters seeks to educate, communicate and take action on environmental and climate change issues at every level from local to global.
