We invite you to donate canned goods or other nonperishable items to our food drive. Our goal is to collect 40 cans (or other nonperishable items) during the season of Lent, one for each day of Lent, per Sunday School student. Food items should be in cans, jars, or boxes, be within the best use date time frame, and packages should be in good condition. You can drop off donations in the box on the front porch of Monkton Friends Methodist Church at 78 Monkton Ridge. Students will count, sort, and deliver the food to Have-A-Heart Food Shelf in Bristol. We will be collecting between now and Easter (even though the calendar will only allow one week to be listed).
