On Saturday May 16th the Refuge will celebrate the World Migratory Bird Day with guided bird walks and an afternoon presentation. Activities will begin at 5:30 AM with an early bird walk at the Black/Maquam Trail. An orientation at the refuge headquarters building at 7:30 AM will help kick off morning guided walks to document as many migratory birds as possible.
