Memorable Times Cafe at VT History Center

March's Memorable Times Cafe will celebrate "Vermonty Things". (Yes, that's the technical term.) What represents Vermont to you? From maple to mud, family to forests, come share some fun about all we love or put up with living in Vermont!

Memorable Times Café is a relaxed social time for people living with mild to moderate memory loss, and their care partners. A dementia-friendly community event, it is free and open to the public. Cafés are held on the third Wednesday of each month, from 1:30 to 3 PM, in the Community Room at the Vermont History Center, 60 Washington Street, in Barre. Memorable Times Café is sponsored by the Central Vermont Council on Aging in partnership with the ABLE Library of the Vermont Department of Libraries and area volunteers.

Participants enjoy social time and refreshments, as well as opportunities to share stories, music, movement and laughter. ABLE Library staff are available to facilitate access to "talking books" and other resources.

Please note that the Memory Café is not a drop-off or adult day care program. Each participant is expected to be accompanied by a care partner.
