Sunday Talk - All About Bats

Past event
Mar 15, 2020, 1:30 to 3 PM

It is March Gladness in Johnson when the Conservation Commission sponsors A Sunday Talk: All About Bats by Noel Dodge at the Public Library, Railroad Street on March 15, 2020 at 1:30 PM. Bats are an important segment of our ecosystem. Do you know that bats pollinate over 300 hundred species of fruit and eat volumes of pesty insects? Have you noticed the 15 bat houses set up at four locations in town? Noel Dodge is our local expert on the interesting flying mammals. You can find answers to your bat questions and learn how to help rejuvenate the bat population when Noel shares his knowledge and first-hand experience working with bats.

The Conservation Commission is committed to helping the bat population. Learning more about the value of bats is a worthwhile use of 90 minutes on March Sunday. Part of the March Gladness series this event is open to the public. Free.
