Valley Stage Productions is pleased to announce that "The Fretless" will be our next concert taking place on Thursday, March 12 beginning at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Richmond Congregational Church at 20 Church St. in Richmond. Doors are at 7:00 p.m.

The Fretless is the Canadian Fiddle Foursome playing an essential part in the emerging movement mainstreaming traditional Irish music. The band has won Instrumental Album Group of the Year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards in 2012.

In 2016 they took home a Juno award for Best Instrumental Album of the Year. Through its deconstruction and transformation of the usual rhythmic, harmonic and structured arrangements of fiddle styles around the world, the Fretless is pushing traditional music to a new place, and has now issued itself an atypical challenge in the mission to find and convert fans familiar with "progressive" traditional music.
