You're invited to a county-wide clothing swap, featuring prom attire, at Mount Abraham Union High School on Saturday, March 21st from 10am to 2pm!
This event is co-organized by the Mount Abe, Middlebury, and Vergennes high school environmental clubs.
We are seeking donations of clean and gently used clothes for all ages, including used prom dresses and tuxes! There are drop boxes at each of the high schools. Locations are listed below.
Bristol Drop Off: MAUHS on March 14th, 20th, or the morning of the swap on March 21st.
Middlebury Drop Off: MUHS in the main office anytime the school is open.
Vergennes Drop Off: VUHS Front Lobby anytime the school is open. Please leave bagged donations in the bin marked Clothing Swap Donations.
Clothing donators receive coupons for the swap! If you do not drop off clothes, there is a suggested donation for a bag of clothes ($5) and for prom attire ($20).
All donations support the work of the high school environmental clubs. All clothes swapped will help the environment! Please consider participating in this event to build community and help us counteract the negative social, economic, and environmental impacts of fast fashion.
