This week's OLLI topic is certainly timely: "The Age of Violence," presented by Attorney Chandler Matson, of Stowe. Matson will discuss how media coverage of public opinion can threaten our ability to reason collectively and adhere to the basic tenets of our government. Discourse and debate in America relies increasingly on verbiage of "assault," "attack," "my foe." And with ever increasing media options, how can we maintain reasonable, respectful discussion?
