Green-up day is May 3 this year. As soon as bags are available I will announce it here on Front Porch Forum. We have had as many as 20 plus volunteers picking up road sides in the past. One of our local businesses has employees pick up a section of road as a community service. Every bit helps. Bags can be brought to the Transfer Station on May 3 between 8 am and noon. Should you need help the Highway Dept. can pickup bags the following Monday just let us know where they are by calling and leaving a message at 773-8128. Remember May 3 is Green-up Day.
