"Stabat Mater," a Sacred Music masterpiece by 18th Century composer Giovanni Pergolesi, will be performed in St. Patrick's Church in Moretown on Friday (April 11) at 7 p.m.

Soloists will be soprano Celina Moore and mezzo Mimi Clark, with accompanist June Morse. Pergolesi's Stabat Mater contains 13 arias in a setting of 13th Century text that expresses the Virgin Mary's suffering as she stands by the Cross.
