Sunday Talk - All About Mushrooms

Past event
Mar 8, 2020, 1:30 to 3 PM

A talk, All About Mushrooms by Brad Bourdeau, will be held at the Johnson Public Library, Railroad Street on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 1:30 PM. The Johnson Conservation Commission kicks off its March Gladness series with this presentation and discussion about mushrooms. Brad Bourdeau is known as the "mushroom guy" based on his knowledge and experience with the well-known but often misunderstood mushroom.

Did you know that a mushroom is neither fruit nor vegetable? Mushrooms are a type of fungi, living organisms that are distantly related to plants, and more closely related to animals, but different from either of these groups. All mushrooms are fungi but not all fungi are mushrooms. So much to learn. You can find answers to your mushroom questions on Sunday, March 8th at the Johnson Public Library.

This event is open to the public. Free. Remember to set your clock ahead on Saturday night so you will not be late for this talk.
