There are two tours scheduled this month: March 16th and March 25th, at 6pm.
Many of you are aware of concerns related to the Woodstock Union Middle School/High School facility. The WUHSMS building has served students well for over 60 years, but has now outlived it's useful life. For details go to https://www.wcsu.net/wcsu-news and https://www.wcsu.net/school-facility-plan
In order to help our community members better understand the issues facing this facility, our Director of Buildings and Grounds, Joe Rigoli, will be conducting tours of the building to highlight concerns that include outdated systems vulnerable to failure and expensive fixes, issues with heating and cooling, inadequate ventilation, ambient noise in classrooms, and code and ADA compliance issues. Directly following the tour, the Superintendent, Mary Beth Banios, will give a presentation that highlights how the existing building also presents challenges related to meeting programming needs and will be available to take questions from participants.
