Lead the Way for Equal Pay: Tools and Strategies to Change the Story on Pay Equity
New and existing Equal Pay Compact signers are invited to join us for an engaging morning to learn about the state of women in the workplace in VT. This event takes place on the morning of Thursday, March 19th at 9:15 at Vermont Tech's Langevin House in Randolph Center. Learn about the latest data on pay inequity with Change The Story VT director, Tiffany Bluemle, hear about resources available to your organization, network with other employers committed to improving the economic security of women, and make a plan to bring back new tools and strategies to your organization.

For businesses who've not signed on yet, the Compact is a voluntary online pledge enabling Vermont employers to indicate their commitment to closing the gender wage gap. By signing on, employers agree to implement tangible action steps to improve gender equity in their workplace. VCW offers a suggested strategies document for inspiration.
This project's goal is to help make Vermont one of the best states for working women by closing the gender wage gap, removing barriers to women's advancement, and improving economic security for women and their families.
