Senior lunch will be served at the Charlotte Senior Center at noon on Wednesday, March 4th. Lunch will include Beef Burgundy, bread, beverages and Homemade Birthday Cake & Ice Cream. Please call 425-6345 for a reservation. A $5.00 donation would be greatly appreciated. Activities at the Charlotte Senior Center are open to citizens from neighboring communities. The lunch will be followed at 1 pm by a free presentation entitled: "Ocean Currents, The Gulf Stream & Sailboat Racing" with Don Porter. Here's a chance to learn about the critical influence ocean currents have on our climate, the surprising dynamics of the Gulf Stream, and how gale-force winds and rogue waves in these waters conspired to define one of the most challenging Newport-Bermuda sailboat races.
