Sheldon celebrates its 250th town anniversary this Sunday from 5-9 pm in the Abbey Pavilion on Casino Road. Bring your own picnic if you wish. The Historical Society will provide free cake and ice cream, beverages, maple cotton candy and kettle corn. There will be images of Sheldon's past for viewing and activities for children. The evening program begins at 6:20 pm with a few words from our town historian followed by music from Joe's Big Band. This amazing orchestra will play popular numbers from the Swing Era. There will be an old fashion cake auction during intermission and 50/50 raffle drawing. This will be a non-alcoholic event sponsored by local businesses.
