VALLEY LIONS INVITES LEADER OF YOUTH MENTORSHIP PROJECT TO SPEAK AT MONTHLY CLUB MEETING

Valley Lions Club welcomes 3 Generations Collaboration (3GC) and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Vermont (BBBSVT). The two organizations have teamed up to provide mentors to children of the West River Valley.

As the monthly guest speakers, Janis Hall of 3GC and Kimberley Diemond of BBBSVT will discuss their mentoring mission and how to become a mentor. They are recruiting adult volunteers of all ages who can commit to mentoring a youth for a school year or a calendar year.

A short general monthly meeting will be conducted after the presentation.

Each month the Valley Lions Club meets the second Tuesday of each month from September through June since 1969 to conduct a monthly general business meeting and host a guest presenter to learn more about the communities of the West River Valley "WE SERVE". The club meets at the NewBrook Fire Station at 7 pm - 8 pm.
