The City's volunteer Planning Commission has been working on an overhaul to important parts of the City's Land Development Regulations, including how medium-sized and large projects are designed and reviewed (subdivision & planned unit developments), and how natural resources - hazards and habitat blocks - will be regulated in the future.
Project Updates This Week:
1. New Project website: for all information, including presentations, reports, draft regulations, and interactive maps, visit the updated project website at www.sbvt.gov/LDRupdates
2. On Tuesday 2/25, the Planning Commission and City Council received a presentation from Arrowwood Environmental about their recently-completed Habitat Block Assessment. Visit the project website for the presentation and report.
3. Listening Session #2 Friday 3/6 at 12 pm, at City Hall. Staff and 2-3 Commissions will be on hand to gather feedback on the project. This session's theme is "Habitat Blocks," following up from the Habitat Block presentation. No decisions will be made at this listening session; it's designed to be a chance to hear from you!
4. As always, Planning Commission meetings are open to the public. The Commission's next meeting is Tuesday, 3/3 at 7 pm, City Hall
