Last month we started seeds at our food swap. This month we’re going to learn how to prepare our gardens and where to plant them!

Join VT Food Swap and Mad River Localvores this Sunday, April 13th, at 3pm for a garden planning workshop and food swap at the Waitsfield Senior Center located at 5308 Main St #1, Waitsfield.

The new head gardener from the Elephant in the Field Farm will join us to talk about all things garden planning – soil health, companion planting, and crop rotation. Bring your questions and learn about how to best manage your soil and plants. After that we'll wrap it up with the food swap where you can swap your homemade items and then head home with your bounty of homemade items.
