Ripton's Town Meeting is this coming Monday, March 2 at the Ripton Community House. The actual meeting starts at 7 pm, but a supper of homemade soups, breads and potluck homemade desserts starts at 6. Bring a plate of cookies to share or just come enjoy what's there. Childcare is available at the Ripton Elementary School. At Monday night's meeting, we'll discuss and vote on the town budget and all the other items on the "Warning" on p. 3 of the Town Report. If you bring your copy of the Town Report, you can follow the discussion most easily. There are lots of interesting agenda items to discuss and decide this year. Your voice is important! On Tuesday, March 3, the polls will be open from 7 am to 7 pm for Australian ballot voting on other warned items as well as the school district budgets and the presidential primary.
