Sondra Perry (b 1986) holds an MFA from Columbia University and a BFA in Expanded Media from Alfred University. Perry has had multiple exhibitions, including the installations at the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland, Luma Westbau Zürich, Institute of Contemporary Art Miami, Disjecta in Portland Oregon, Serpentine Sackler Gallery London, Bridget Donahue New York, Seattle Art Museum, Squeaky Wheel in Buffalo,THE KITCHEN New York City, and the Institute for New Connotative Action Seattle. She has also recently shown at The Shed, Museum Ludwig, The Walker Art Center, The Institute of Contemporary Art Boston, The New Museum, Brooklyn Museum, and MoMas PS1. In 2017, Sondra was awarded the Gwendolyn Knight and Jacob Lawrence Prize for a solo show at the Seattle Art Museum. Perrylives and works in her hometown of Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
