Join me just over a week from now Saturday March 7, 2020 at Smilie Memorial School Gymnasium to kick off the 2020 Bolton History Group!
Bring your ideas, town knowledge, or just your curiosity of town history and the heritage that has sculpted Bolton over the years.
-This year is the 250 year anniversary of the first meetings held in Connecticut and New Jersey to grant 100 acre lots to 71 grantees which laid out the township in 1770. A special 4th of July float will display the towns history from the first meeting to now. Volunteers and ideas will be greatly appreciated!
-Green up day event & BBQ will be supported again this year. Bring ideas and any other input to make 2020 a success.
-Cemetery restoration project will continue this summer. Volunteers will be needed!
