Acadian Genealogy Research

Past event

Hi Folks,
If you could post this sometime this week that would be great.

For this winter/spring class session we only have three classes after this one, and there are some weeks with no classes.

Thank you for all of your help.

Mike Sevigny will discuss the history of the Acadians in what became Canada's maritime provinces. He will discuss their deportation by the British with the hardships and losses that resulted. He'll then discuss research strategies, and where to find the records necessary to locate information on your Acadian ancestors. Classes are held at the Vermont Genealogy Library located on Hegeman Ave, Fort Ethan Allen, Colchester, across from the State Police Building. Classes are from 10:30 to noon and are $5.00.
Please visit our website www.vtgenlib.org or call 802-310-9285 for more info.
