Personal Cybersecurity Monday March 23, 6:00 – 8:00 PM
You read about cybersecurity in the news all the time. Major websites "hacked", company databases "breached", personal data "leaked". "Phishing", "malware", "ransomware", "2FA" or "MFA". What language are they speaking? What does it all mean for you? How do the bad guys steal your information? What can you do to protect yourself? What should companies do to protect your data? Join Geoff Mazanec from Southwestern Vermont Health Care as he outlines some basic cybersecurity techniques that will help you protect yourself.

Introduction to Starting Seeds Thursday April 9, 6:00 – 8 PM
Join BAM and the Bennington Chapter UVM Extension Master Gardeners for an introduction to starting seeds for your summer vegetable garden. We will have seeds, potting soil, and other supplies to help you get started. We will also discuss the basics of starting seeds indoors including location, heating, light, humidity, and watering. We plan to demonstrate building a seed starting rack with wire shelving, heat mats, and LED shop lights as well.

Community Meetings
BAM has weekly Community Meetings on Thursdays at 6 PM which are informal meetups at BAM, 239 Main St, Bennington, VT. These are times to connect with others in the local maker scene. Recently we've been disassembling a variety of old appliances and electronics to scavenge parts for our own supply stockpile and rebuilding old computers for use at BAM.
