Vermont Cookbook Connection Event at Sandy's

Sandy's Books & Bakery will host the final event of their February Festivus on Friday, Feb 28th. The Vermont Cookbook Connection is a four course meal inspired by popular, sometimes iconic, Vermont cookbooks published over the course of many decades. Dishes are based on recipes from The Blueberry Hill Cookbook (Elise Masterton, Goshen), The Vermont Farm Table Cookbook and Dishing Up Vermont, (Tracey Medeiros), an early 1951 edition of Out of Vermont Kitchens (The Ladies of St Paul's Cathedral in Burlington), and the beloved Horn of the Moon Cookbook (Ginny Callan, Montpelier). In addition, the raw ingredients of local producers and purveyors are used in all courses. Seatings at 5 pm and 7 pm. Call Sandy's at 767 4258 for reservations.
