DISASTER CASE MANAGEMENT TRAINING
In every Disaster such as flooding, fire, ice storm, people are traumatized.
Their lives are upended and their homes are damaged.
Public and private sector responders come in to help restore the damage to property.
There is another equally critical need; that of case workers;
those who assist families to regain stability. They listen.
They support. They help with forms and provide assurance that there is
a light at the end of the tunnel.
If you are interested in being trained to provide this necessary service,
The Vermont Organizations active in Disasters (VOAD)
in collaboration with the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont and the
Vermont Conference of the United Church of Christ Disaster Response Committees
