This week's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute talk will feature Erin Ryan, international midwife and public health consultant. Erin has consulted on health issues in Bali, Haiti, Uganda and Bangladesh, attending over 1,000 births. She will share with us stories and case studies from her international work as a midwife to discuss stepping beyond the old framework of helping into true empowerment and the many ways that might look.
