The Friends of Pownal, Inc. is once again hosting a "Meet & Greet" for candidates running for town office. The event will take place at the Pownal Elementary School Library on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. Each candidate is invited to make a brief statement which includes why they are running, any past positions or services they have provided the community, the skills they bring to the position and their priorities and aspirations if elected. All of the write-in candidates that we have heard about have been invited. If you are a write-in candidate and have not received an invitation you are welcome to attend. E-mail me and I will add you to the list of candidates. The moderator of this event is Reverend Jayson Dominey.

Following their statements, light refreshments will be available and people can mingle and chat with the candidates.

CAT-TV will record the event so those who can't attend can view it on Youtube before the election.
