Join Brain Injury Association of Vermont for the Concussion Training for Youth Sports educational event Online or In-Person! You'll receive information on the protocols and procedures following concussion & brain injury emergencies.

All are encouraged to attend: teachers, school nurses, coaches. parents, and first responders

Speakers: William Mapes, NRP, I/C, CCTP is the current EMS Chief for the Town of Morristown.

Entering his 40th year as an EMS provider and paramedic, he is a graduate of the Daytona Beach Community College Paramedic Program, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Critical Care Paramedic Program. He holds instructor certifications in multiple EMS disciplines and is also the Vermont Educational Coordinator for the National Association of EMT's. He has delivered classes at state, regional, and national EMS conferences, and has led training programs as far away as Melbourne, Australia.

Bill was the 2014 Vermont EMS Educator of the Year, and a 2011 American Ambulance Association Star of Life recipient.
