I am posting this verbatim:
I would like to invite you to Herrick Auditorium tomorrow evening at 7pm for a 30 minute lecture followed by a screening of Puccini's romantic "La Boheme."
The lecture on "La Boheme" will be presented by Joshua Collier (Operatic Tenor, Artistic Director of BARN OPERA and Castleton University Vocal Faculty), and will be the first of a 4 events spanning the operatic repertoire from Mozart to Poulenc. The event is free.
I am thrilled to bring my experience and intimate knowledge of this repertoire to you, and look forward to experiencing this masterwork with you for the first or the hundredth time!
Please visit www.jrctenor.com to explore my experience as a performer, and www.barnopera.com to see the kind of envelope-pushing and updating I have been doing in the operatic medium in Brandon. I would love to meet other opera enthusiasts or newbies alike for this introduction to the art form that I love so much.
Hope to see you all tomorrow night!
Joshua Collier
